Photo and Memorabilia Storage
The products included here are ones I either personally use and/or believe would be a valuable tool or addition to preserving your family history also. I'll be adding unique, simple-to-use and exceptional products from time to time as I come across ones that I think will help to protect your irreplaceable items and slow down the aging or damage. Check back occasionally for new product additions.
Before you buy any storage products, it's imperative you understand that your printed photos and memorabilia must be stored properly. Any old shoe box will NOT do! The wrong products or storage locations will damage photos and destroy memories. You need products proven to be acid-free, lignin-free, photo-safe, archival quality or archival-safe. Always verify that any of these terms state "acid-free and "lignin-free" before buying.
Keep in mind that even the best photo-safe product cannot keep your collection in perfect condition over the years. But it will do a fantastic job in preserving them compared to low-quality alternatives such as "whatever you can find around the house."
